Dear all,
As you know, Hurricane Ida forced us to close the doors for 10 instructional days. Therefore, we must make up the instructional minutes. It is important to note that make up times are specific to each school. So, what Belle Chasse Middle School is doing may not be the same for Belle Chasse High School. Our make up time will be as follows:
October 8th and 11th--Full days of school (These were originally convertible days)
Exams have been moved from October 4th-7th to October 12th-15th.
Exam days are no longer half days. We will dismiss at 2:26, regular time.
November 1st is now a full day of school. No holiday.
December 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th will be extended by 30 minutes each day. Therefore, we will dismiss at 2:56 on these four days.
December exams--December 17th, 20th, and 21st will no longer be half days. We will dismiss at 2:26.
Once we go to Winter Break, we will have made up all missed instructional minutes.
