Belle Chasse Middle School, home of the "Battlin' Bulldogs", in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana was opened in 1977 to help reduce overcrowding at Belle Chasse High School, then a K-12 school.  For 22 years, until 1999 when 5th grade was added, the school housed grades 6-8.  Located just outside of New Orleans, BCMS students can take advantage of "big city" opportunities while enjoying a "small town" atmosphere.
